# Privacy Policy

Telega VPN Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

### Rebranding and Name Change

With the release of version 2.0, the application previously known as HayVon was rebranded as Telega VPN.

The application name, icon, and interface were updated. Telega VPN remains the same client application, and the rebranding does not change how user information is handled under this Privacy Policy.

### About Telega VPN

Telega VPN is a client application for working with user-provided configurations and self-hosted JamanWG panels.

Each user is responsible for deploying and operating their own JamanWG panel or for choosing the server and configuration they connect to.

Telega VPN does not provide or sell VPN access, servers, panels, keys, accounts, or traffic.

### Information Stored on the Device

Telega VPN may store the following information locally on the user’s device:

* JamanWG panel URL or access link added by the user
* API token entered by the user
* Compatible configurations loaded from the user’s panel or added by the user
* Selected server, location, or client profile
* Application and connection settings
* Local diagnostic logs, if enabled by the user

This information is used to operate the application and start the system VPN tunnel selected by the user.

Diagnostic logging is disabled unless the user enables it.

### Information Sent to the User’s Panel or Server

When the user adds, refreshes, or uses a key, configuration, or JamanWG panel, Telega VPN sends requests directly to the address provided by the user.

The selected server or panel may receive the user’s IP address and standard technical request metadata required to return or update configurations.

When the VPN is active, network traffic is routed through the server selected by the user. Telega VPN does not control user-provided, self-hosted, or third-party servers.

Telega VPN does not add advertising identifiers, third-party analytics identifiers, or telemetry headers to panel requests.

### Optional Connection Diagnostics

Connection diagnostics run only when started by the user.

These checks may contact standard connectivity services operated by Cloudflare, Google, or Apple. These services may receive the user’s IP address and standard request metadata according to their own privacy policies.

### Information Telega VPN Does Not Collect

Telega VPN does not collect or retain:

* Browsing history
* Visited domains
* DNS query contents
* Network traffic contents
* Personal messages
* Contacts
* Precise location
* Photos or videos
* Files outside an import action explicitly selected by the user

Telega VPN does not sell personal data and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

### Permissions

Telega VPN uses Apple system VPN APIs to start and stop the VPN tunnel. iOS or macOS may ask the user to approve VPN configuration access.

Camera or photo library access is used only when the user explicitly chooses to scan or import a configuration.

Telega VPN does not access the camera or photo library in the background.

### Third-Party Services

Telega VPN does not provide public VPN servers, paid access, traffic resale, or hosted panel accounts.

All server infrastructure is managed by the user or by the organization that provided the user’s panel or configuration.

External support, repository, panel, and server links are governed by their respective operators.

### Data Retention and Deletion

Local information remains on the device until the user:

* Removes the related key, panel, or configuration
* Clears diagnostic logs
* Uninstalls the application

Uninstalling Telega VPN removes locally stored application data according to the operating system’s standard behavior.
